I can see why the Mariners say no. They have France listed on the depth chart as the starting 1B, and only Dylan Moore as backup. Giving up France creates a big hole in their lineup. Would the Brewers add Tellez to this trade? Would the Mariners then accept the trade? Also, I think the Brewers say no to Kelenic and ask for another player, possibly Chris Clarke or Sam Haggerty. Not sure any of this would work but I doubt this trade, as it’s posted, would be approved by Seattle.
