I just don’t see the need for Wendle. They have several utility infield options (Arias, Freeman, Rocchio, even Palacios) already, it just seems unwise to further block playing time for them IMO
Cleveland almost always operates with a veteran utility guy at the end of the bench… They likely will add someone to the roster before the season starts to fill in the last 200ish ABs available. I’d rather have a proven player like Wendel at the end of the bench…
