On July 30th, the New York Mets will trade Brett Baty, Joey Lucchesi, David Peterson, minor-league shortstop Ronny Mauricio, and minor-league outfielder Alex Ramirez to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for Randy Arozarena and minor-league pitcher Taj Bradley.
No they won’t. This trade doesn’t work for the Rays. Would love to hear why you think it does.
Yes they will. Besides, Stuart Sternberg will sell a 55% stake in the Rays ownership to the Glazer family, who currently owns the Buccaneers, for $1.25 billion, so the Rays will build their new 38,000-seat retractable roof ballpark on the former Tampa Stadium site adjacent to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa for the 2028 season if their lease on Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg expires following the 2027 season.
Wanna predict tonight’s powerball numbers too?
