Red Sox can DFA Dalbec to make room for Burleson. Hudson has a good chance to return to form this next season, but the Cards need a guy with more Ks (Houck). LA trades a reliever (Jackson) for a guy who has starter experience and swaps prospects to make that happen. BOS trades a young flamethrower for his replacement, a top power prospect who is ready + can play DH/OF/1B (all of which they need), and solid prospects. Win-Win-Win.
