This could be a deal done at the trading deadline depending on how the Brewers were doing. Milwaukee would look for better MLB ready pitching initially when they trade Burnes, but this could be something they would look at if they failed to find a better deal. Burnes is a TOR SP and Dunning is a #5-6 at best. The Brewers are loaded with those type pitchers. The difference between Burnes and Dunning is so huge this deal now would make the Brewers worse. Garcia is an upgrade over Taylor, but the Brewers want to look at their three MLB ready OF prospects to start. Milwaukee would want to wait and see how Leiter and White do against better hitters in AA and AAA because they are such a big part of the trade. The Brewers wouldn’t have a use for Duran or Teodo.
