No thanks. There are plenty of C in Cleveland’s camp comparable to Nido. Wouldn’t mind adding him at all, but I’m not giving up a BP arm like DLS. He was a rock for us in 2022 and way more valuable to Cleveland than the 2.6 allocated to him here. Not saying that isn’t fair, only that his value to the Guardians is much more. I think they’d deal Karinchak before DLS, but that’s just my opinion.
I’d do this deal… If they can trade Karinchak and replace him, they can easily trade DLS without any hesitation.
Though with Nido not being strong at throwing our base stealer, he won’t be as good in 23..
