   I love what this site does, but trades like this highlight the site’s continuing format weaknesses. Displaying a player’s name as “Martinez” with not even a first name tells me nothing in 90% of cases, so I have to click on the link. Then, it takes an *excruciatingly* long time to get to the player page (via amazingly slow ads, the economic necessity of which I accept but the relevance of which can be nonexistent). Having to undertake that process for three or four players in a big trade is not that useful a timesink.

   I haven’t seen anyone else post a comparable complaint here, so maybe others don’t experience the site as I do (or maybe they just know every Smith or Martinez or Brown in every organization, so don’t have to use the links) but I keep hoping you either will add first names to the links, recap the names in text on the trade landing page, or get speedier servers. In any event, thanks for what you do here, even if the experience could be a lot better for me.

     Thanks for the feedback, Mike. We’re aware of all those issues, and in fact are working on an updated version of the site that will address them — including faster servers, an ad-free version, and some of those usability issues. So they’ll be fixed soon.
