    Rays have no interest in Dalbec. Frankly, I doubt anyone does.

      I would have a lot of interest if I was somebody like the Pirates. But yeah, I don’t see a spot for him on the Rays. But he hits the ball really hard, and can draw a walk. There’s something to be unlocked, but you got to unlock it.

        Eh… His 2 full years in the League (not counting his less than 100 PA first year) has produced 106 wRC+ and 80 wRC+. That’s pathetic for a 1B, and it’s even worse for a poor fielding 1B.

        I suppose a rebuilding team could afford to take a chance on him since his trade value is basically zero. But he’s not a very good baseball player.
