The Brewers say no thanks. Lucchesi has thrown a total of 56 innings since the 2019 season. Megill hasn’t done much in his first two years in the big leagues. He projects to be a swing man in the pen type. Milwaukee has plenty of those. Baty is a very good start, but the lack of quality pitching returning to Milwaukee has them refusing this deal. They could do much better elsewhere.
