Added Florial to this trade to fill outfield gap left by Santander : https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trades/trade-126056/

This can be seen as 2 2-team trades (Torres/Florial for Santander/Mateo, then Mateo for Knack)

Yankees get Anthony Santander to play left field. Power switch hitter, pulls fly balls heavily which will play well in Yankee Stadium. Send Torres to the Orioles to clear space for Volpe/Peraza middle infield. Florial is out of options and gets traded as he won’t make the team.

Orioles get Gleyber Torres to play second base, send Jorge Mateo to the Dodgers to clear overcrowding of the infield. This would allow the Orioles to play Urias at his best position in 3B, and Gunnar Henderson at his best position in SS. Florial fills gap of Santander and at the very least provides great defense.

Dodgers get Jorge Mateo to fill in as the utility man Miguel Rojas was originally traded to be, may wind up as the starting shortstop. Trade average prospect to the Yankees for added utility piece with great defense.
