On July 28th, the New York Mets will trade Tylor Megill, David Peterson, Mark Vientos, minor-league outfielder Alex Ramirez, and minor-league 3rd baseman Jacob Reimer to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for Randy Arozarena.

Rays say no. None of those players has the kind of upside the Rays will expect in a trade of Aroz (not to mention the Rays are more likely to be deadline buyers than sellers).

Which part of my response do you find ridiculous? Let’s discuss.

False. The Rays have the cheapest owner in America’s pasttime in Stuart Sternberg, who will likely sell them to the Glazer family and Jeff Vinik for $2.25 billion.

Wow, your last comment (and my response) got deleted. I didn’t know that happened here.

Because it violated our code of conduct.

LOL. You’re strict. I’ve been called much worse on other sites.
