This trade’s interesting to me. As a Braves fan, I’d rather do it a 1 for 1 instead of a 2 for 2. I see that it balances out a bit more to combine, but it’s not that much and I’d rather it be simpler.
I’m mild on Sean Burke. I’m still hopeful for Ian Anderson. I’m not sure if Burke is right for where Atlanta should focus their trade capital. I’m wondering about your thoughts on how Burke fit for the Braves.
As a fellow Braves fan, it’s a somewhat hard pill to swallow giving up Grissom for a rental. Adding the currently-broken Anderson is just a way to make me sleep better thinking we also received extra years of control. That’s it. At the end of the season, I’m hoping for something to still be around (besides another WS trophy).
