I don’t see it for Cleveland. White is a bit underwhelming as a headliner, and if Cleveland decides to trade Bieber and retool, I would expect them to make Naylor the most days catcher, so Heim is a bit of an odd fit as well. If Bieber is available, basically every contender to be interested, and this package won’t win a bidding war.
You need 2 catchers and both Heim and Naylor are versatile enough to play other positions. It could end up that Heim moves to 1B after Bell is gone or that Naylor plays some OF since that’s what he was prior to converting to C.
I think White and Leiter would both reap the benefits of being with Cleveland’s pitching development staff.

You need two catchers, sure, but having two young starting caliber catchers is an inefficient allocation of resources, and moving either off of being a most days catcher would significantly lower their value. I do think White would do very well in Cleveland, although Leiter doesn’t seem like their usual type. It’s not a bad package, I just think Cleveland could get more value and/or a better fit for an ace with a year and half left before free agency.
Easy fellas, this was posted in response to aidenhtracey’s prior post. If Texas wants to acquire Bieber then it will have to look something like this IMO. There are reasons for both teams to reject it and accept it. I’m not hung up on it which is why I haven’t posted a trade with Texas in quite some time.

👎, I don’t think the Rangers would move both Leiter & White, maybe one of them but not both, and moving Heim leaves them with Leon and……..Garver?
Texas is not going to trade Heim.
