Now when it comes to Boston… Walter would definitely be there target, but maybe a Rosario for Ravelo/Meidroth plus Drohan?
I figured that be the response to Hickey, I think base stealers are something like 36 for 36 against him. The hope is with the promotion to AA the help he can get from the staff there can improve his overall performance behind the plate.
Walter is struggling mightily right now but still viewed very favorably by Bloom and company, the other 3 have far too much helium and are all about to rise significantly in value, you couldn’t get any 1 of them straight up for Rosario even if all of his remaining salary was picked up by the Guardians.
I get that, but Cleveland has been going for certain types and those three fit the typing they have been drafting and signing of late. I don’t really see anyone else who really fits what Cleveland wants in Bostons farm…
There real need is a 2/3 hole hitter, while otherwise they want a right handed hitter who can hit lefties and play multiple positions including 1B. Then it’s BPA from guys they would want… Boston just doesn’t draft/sign a lot of guys Cleveland likes…
