The Mariners need hitting and Oscar Gonzalez could work. He’s a 25 year old outfielder that has a very good arm. He was good last year but this year, he’s batting .192 this year and he recently got demoted to the minors. If he can get back to his old form in 2022, Seattle would have another potential good bat and he’s only 25 so he has time to improve. Matt Brash isn’t very consistent but when he has his good stuff, he’s untouchable. The statistics on Savant don’t lie. From Cleveland’s point of view, this could be a good trade because they’re very good at making pitchers really good. Seattle is similar but Cleveland has been more well known for their pitching much longer then Seattle has. And they’re also getting a left handed out fielding prospect in Cade Marlowe, who could become a back up hitter that could help improve Cleveland’s struggling offense.

Sincerely, Cleveland does not want a LH hitting OF since they already traded two and have a bunch in their system. They need right handed hitters in the lineup. Also I really doubt Seattle gives up that good of an arm for Gonzalez….
