Another Cardinal trade proposal that does not consider what Cleveland would want and need. Cleveland does not need one more middle infielder let alone two more. Nothing here that would interest the Guardians or meet their needs.
I wanted Donovan last season, but he’s not worth 40+ value to Cleveland, cut his value in half, then add in Herrera, Graceffo, McGreevey, plus another then you would be close to what Cleveland wants….
Where are you playing Donovan Sportscoach? Why do we need another left-handed hitter?
Donovan is an utility guy who actually hits lefties fairly well with his plus contact style. He would be the guy who plays everywhere… I agree though we don’t need another contact style left handed hitter, but he would be an upgrade over Palacios since at least he can field…
Herrera and Naylor on paper would be your catching duo… Then you would likely have Arias and Fry as well.
For the long run, that wouldn’t be a bad group at all. We could also flip a Freeman into another deal as well…
Dealing Bieber and getting Flaherty back is just dumb. Keep Winn too because he’s too far away. Add Graceffo and Liberatore along with Yepez and Herrera and you got a deal. Otherwise kick rocks.
