Rockies get 2 MLB ready prospects and a far off high ceiling pitcher.
Rays get a decent reliever that can get a lot better.
I like it for the Rays. Make it happen captain.
High leverage arm making league minimum has too high of trade value these days. Probably Rockies will say no.
I don’t see the Rockies having interest in this……but they are the Rockies so I guess you never know.
They should. They’re getting three high ceiling players for a middle reliever. Wasn’t long ago that Brujan was on every top 50 list. It was like a year and a half ago. He’s had 200 pretty bad plate appearances in the major leagues. It’s tanked is value, but not to the point the Rockies should say no. Meisner was who they got for Wendle a year ago, and Goss is a stalled pitching prospect with some potential, You should probably be a reliever to get to the majors faster. I think this is a better deal than for some helium player who nobody knew of a month ago.
