Once again the Brewers say a loud no thanks. Hall just got demoted to learn how to pitch, so the Brewers get no pitching to replace Burnes. That alone kills the deal. Milwaukee can’t afford to give away pitching when they are desperate for SPs because of all their injuries to starters. With their DH’s doing so badly, Milwaukee might want Hays and then use Yelich as the DH. I like Norby, but the Brewers don’t need another OF or 2B. The package is just far to weak for the Brewers to even think about.

This trade makes no sense for the Brewers. They are looking for pitching, so trading 3 pitchers and getting no usable pitchers back would be rather stupid. Hall just can’t seem to put it together in the big leagues. I don’t see Milwaukee wanting him until he actually proves he can pitch in the show. The Brewers certainly wouldn’t want Stowers either. Hays would be very iffy in my mind. An easy no thanks for Milwaukee.
