Gallegos at 29.2 and De Los Santos at 0 is just stupid. I’m not giving that kind of value for a RP when I have plenty of talent in the BP and in the upper minors.
This addresses none of Cleveland’s needs.
I’ve seen worse deals, but Cleveland absolutely must get a RH bat with 2/3 hole potential that is MLB ready… This deal doesn’t do that for them. Like I wouldn’t be mad if Cleveland took it, but it’s weird to trade from a surplus and acquire what your surplus is in….
