This must be the most nonsensical trade proposal that I have ever seen. You actually expect the small market Guardians to take on $60.4M of prorated money for 2023 and future salary obligations of $137.M to pay players that they don’t need just to get rid of Bell? Be serious. With Beiber, McKenzie, Williams, Alllen, Bibee, Civale, Plesac, and other, why would they need 3 more starters?
Yeah that was my goal here – just make the worst trade for everyone involved. Just messing around
I’ll tell you what. The Cardinals can just take Bell along with his remaining salary and option. We don’t need anything in return so STL can keep all those wonderful players you so kindly offered us.
