Brewers say no. Milwaukee would already be selling at a low point with Burnes and this proposal is even more under value. Stone hasn’t looked good in the big leagues or AAA this year. Brewers tell Dodgers keep Stone and swap in Vargas and the Brewers add Lara. OR Dodgers keep Stone and swap in Pepiot, Frasso, V.Gonzalez. Still under value for Milwaukee, but at least it’s better.

I don’t know what to think of Stone. He just looks to risky. He strikesout a lot of guys, but he also allows a lot of walks and runs. His ERA in AAA is over 5. I wouldn’t want him as part of a deal for Burnes. I don’t like jmont’s Vargas/Sheehan deal, however, the Pepiot/Frasso/Gonzalez/Sheehan deal would be pretty fair for both teams. Brewers could throw in Small/Rea.

You’re going to lose him for nothing if you don’t trade him.
Brewers will trade him. They just wait for a better, more equitable deal unless the Dodgers want to make the swaps.
