This has some possibilities IF the Brewers trade Adames and Burnes and get good pitching in return. If they haven’t traded those two, Milwaukee would turn this down. Povich isn’t anywhere near ready to take Woodruff’s spot in the rotation. Mountcastle and Urias are both decent, but nothing special. Both would help, but they would also add to the Brewers’ already overwhelming number of arbitration eligible guys. The Brewers main focus if they trade Burnes or Woodruff has to be pitching, not position players.
