    Yes, I agree that it is a long shot but I do think that Kershaw and Kelly would do better in the American League and I do think that the Yankees might see the value in having players with short term deals rather than Stanton’s huge long term deal.

    I don’t see Dodgers taking on Stanton’s albatross contract regardless of cash involved.

    Stanton’s contract, especially the length, is a deal breaker for the Dodgers front office. It’s just too much long term risk. I think that fans don’t realize that the value in this contracts have value in the early relays only.
