    Because the dodgers are trying to win…just like the reds…I’m inclined to believe the dodgers wouldn’t trade seager for senzel straight up.

    I’ll say that while pointing out that the obvious exception is that they would move him if it somehow led to them adding significant value to the roster in another area like a top of the rotation SP, a shutdown bullpen piece or a player with the impact of a Betts or Lindor(however unlikely).

    That said…I certainly have a hard time believing that the dodgers would trade seager, 2 quality bullpen pieces and barnes for senzel and the reds 3rd best pitching prospect. No chance.

    What would their motivation be? Adding senzel? I like senzel but that seems like a massive amount of present value to give up for senzel when that team is trying to win a World Series.
