Cleveland will say no to this. They are not planning a rebuild. Indians President Chris Antonetti has stated that he expects Francisco Lindor to be an Indian for 2020. There is also no reason for the Indians to trade Mike Clevinger.

they’d be getting major leaguers in Swanson and Newcomb, and very close in Wright and Pache. This would actually be perfect for a team that did not want to enter a full scale rebuild.

The drop from Lindor to Swanson and from Clevinger to Newcomb would be giving up on 2020 and 2021 when they have the starting pitching to compete. That would be a rebuild which they are not planning to do. Also, I repeat. They have no reason to trade Mike Clevinger.
