    This looks like a solid trade. As a Cubs fan, I would hate to part with Happ. Also, Wright makes me nervous. I may prefer Newcomb, because he has somewhat of a track record, plus another piece (Toussaint), but then the Cubs would have to toss something in to balance it out and it becomes more complicated and more like a fantasy deal. I like the simplicity of your deal. It looks like a real baseball trade.

      I thought it gave the Cubs a gold glove CF/leadoff hitter and young controllable SP. The Braves get a solid SP at the 5 and a high upside, controllable IF/OF piece, potential middle of the order hitter at 3B/CF. Plus, the Cubs drop money on the luxury tax bill and the Braves don’t commit to Q for more than this season, where they could plug in Anderson or Wilson next season.
