Blue Jays have good starting pitching depth, and Nate Pearson will be coming up soon, so they could let one go to the Dodgers, who could use a 4/5 in the rotation, in exchange for a good bullpen arm and a backup/starting 1B to compete with Rowdy Tellez.

It’s always good to see explanations behind the proposals. I’m not convinced the Dodgers need another back-end starter, since they didn’t end up trading Stripling, and would think Kolarek would be of more use to them at the moment than he would be to Toronto. But I appreciate the thinking.
