This is a response to NeoJoe’s proposal. First of all, I would prefer to make any trade with a National League team so any AL team would have to overpay. Montgomery would provide the Indians some starting pitching depth for 2020 that German in his proposal would not do. Again I would not do this for the 2020 season, if we have one, as I would hate to give up on 2020 when the Indians have Bieber, Clevinger, and Carrasco as their top 3 starters.

Hi John — somewhat off-topic but wanted to let you know that we’ve updated the Indians’ prospect numbers based on input from the new Fangraphs list. Nothing major, but Espino did rise a bit, from 5.4 to 7.5. Daniel Johnson and Scott Moss also rose; key fallers were Triston McKenzie, Logan Allen and Will Benson.
