Preller might even do this without Lutz included in the deal! His bullpen is filled with ?’s aside from Yates, and he’s been operating all winter with a gun between his eyes.
And if I’m Milwaukee, I’d argue that Quantrill has proven little for his draft pedigree, and ask for Pagan instead.

Stearns’ MO is to acquire young, controllable, major league-ready assets. While 29 isn’t old, Pagan’s service time is equal to the other 4 players combined.
Question about Pagan- why is he on his 4th team in 4 years? Numbers say he has the talent, is he some sort of head case?
If you’re not sold on Quantrill, swap him out for France and hope that solves the 3B quandary. Personally, I like his value as a solid back-end starter for 5 yrs.

  3. If the Brewers were to trade Hader, I would think that they would want more starting pitching in any deal.

Not only did you insult them with a weak offer you demand they add a top prospect along with a top 2 reliever in the game, wow
