  1. Henry Hartley

An interesting trade that doesn’t change anything positionally, funny enough.

Rangers Get: Of course, the Odor contract and his poor value get shipped off, while in trading Gallo they still get quality pieces. Brendan Rodgers is a former top prospect, as high as number 6. Slots in at SS, 2B, 3B all equally good. Hilliard is also in the deal, who is an intriguing prospect himself, with above-average grades in most categories. Also sends him home to Texas, which is neat.

Rockies Get: A Joey Gallo who can immediately contribute as a power guy in the lineup. In the field, he’s not bad either and should easily be able to patrol the outfield of Coors Field. Odor is also added as a second baseman, where hopefully a change of scenery helps. It’s a bit of an overpayment by BTV standards, but it’s something the Rockies should be willing to take for the offensive gain.
