    Indians get an outfield boost, even if it isn’t a CF, plus a stopgap SS to hold the position until Freeman/Arias are ready, and a solid non-middle-infield prospect to add to their system.

    Mets get starpower, plus a few minor pieces that can at the very least supplement in areas of need.

    I don’t get why people are so obsessed with trades that get the Mets Lindor. The Mets need a CF, C, and SP before a short stop. And even if they went outside of that group, trading for Kris Bryant who they say is available would make so much more sense.

      I’m not particularly sure either, but the rumors swirl elsewhere so it seems worthwhile to at least attempt to figure out a deal for the fun of it.

      From my limited perspective, they would be just fine rolling with the infield they have.
