    If the Cardinals are not interested in German, the Yankees could pivot to Gil or Medina and King combo.

        Thanks, every time they feature one of my trades they get a flurry of thumbs down unfortunately.
        People just refuse to think of a team trading away a specific player even if it makes sense to do so.

          I’m guessing it’s Cardinals fans who don’t want to lose Flaherty, and may not view Torres as a capable SS. I would think Yankees fans would be in favor of this one.

            Yep, we love Jack here in STL (at least most of us). This is the most reasonable one I’ve seen on here with him involved. I’d rather see the Cardinals get involved on one of the free agent infielders next off season and not trade the ace for help there. They should have the money to spend next year, but who knows.

            Yankee fans hug Gleyber Torres like Brian Cashman hugs prospects. They may reject this trade for that reason and not knowing enough of Flaherty.

            Being a Yankee fan, I have come to realize many other Yankee fans do not pay enough attention to other teams rosters to ever agree to a trade involving one of their favorites. I’ve been guilty of it in the past as well. Maybe every fan has a little tunnel vision around their team.

          I like the trade for Yankees but I do think Cardinals like having a ace. At least u get featured trade lol
