I see you’ve made adjustments. It’s a step in the right direction.

Drop Kemp from the deal, he’s penciled in to be the long side of a 2B platoon. Let Oakland figure out their 40 man roster issue on their own. Riley isn’t a good defensive 3B but even more damning is his service time; if Riley spends all of the 2021 season in the Show he’s a lock for Super 2. Oakland is going to want him to spend a month or so in the minors working on his COF routes because they have a new long term opening in RF. Chad Pinder probably gets the Opening Day start at 3B in Oakland.

With Riley and Waters ticketed for OF duty I don’t think there’d be much interest in Harris. I suggest non-40 Man rostered arms instead.

Riley has improved a ton at 3B, but him
Spending some time in the minors might not be a bad idea. I see him
Becoming a good to very good 3B, not champ man level but very good. He moves well has good hands and a great arm. But him being versatile being able to play 1B, 3B, & COF make him
An idea A’s kind of player, plus the 4 years of control don’t hurt either.

I disagree with your assessment on Riley’s defensive ceiling at 3B.

But like I said, I think Oakland would want to focus on arms to fill out the deal. Most of the prospect talent they have is in AAA so refreshing the pipeline is going to be a priority soon.
