Blue Jays add to their rotation with Marquez.

Rockies get a long term replacement for Story in Jordan Groshans, as well as a 3B replacement for Nado in Miguel Hiraldo, and a pitching and a cathcing prospect

    thoughts?

This would be a great package for Colorado. I’d even think it might be a minor overpay but that might be the only way to acquire one of baseball’s best contracts.

I would love this trade for my Jays and I think the Rockies would take it too. Any chance you can get a hold of Atkins to get him to make the call? Lol.

It’s not a bad trade, but I would think the Rockies would want a really top pitching prospect (e.g., SWR) in the trade and I don’t think Kloffenstein qualifies.

As a Red Sox fan, I can see the differences between the Jays’ and Rays ‘ farm systems with the Red Sox farm system. The Red Sox probably have a slightly better MLB roster, but the other two teams have far superior farm systems. It is hard to see the Red Sox any higher than a fourth place team in the AL East. It is somewhat bleak for Red Sox fans.

SMH. The Rays owned the Red Sox last year and yet the Red Sox have a slightly better MLB roster. Whatever…
