Why would the Indians undersell Ramirez? They have no need for Urias or Turang as they have both Gimenez and Rosario at the major league level and are loaded with SS and middle infield prospects in the minors. Feliciano is a bat first catcher and the Indians prefer defense first catchers. This package makes absolutely no sense for the Indians.
could move Luis Urias to 3rd. and give me a rameriez trade you would accept if you were cleveland’s front office
The Brewers can play Urias at 3rd. I agree with Big Bat that the Brewers are not a match in a Ramirez trade. I don’t see the Indians having any interest in moving Ramirez at this current time, especially after trading Lindor and Carrasco. He is very affordable. If I were Cleveland’s front office, I would not be interested in moving him unless the trade return is so overwhelming. This offer is far from overwhelming. If fact, it is extremely underwhelming.
@DodgersLakers: As an Indians fan.. the basis of this deal is pretty solid..albeit..slightly underselling Jose Ramirez.. That can be adjusted by the addition of one more prospect (Ashby, Lutz or Small?).. and or the Brewers Competitive Balance Lottery selection in the coming June First Entry Draft. The deal could take place around the All Star break.. once the Brewers knew where they are in the standings and what they really need..
Thanks for posting..

Urias is not very good and the Brewers don’t have what it takes to get Ramirez without dismantling their roster. It’s just not a match, and Cleveland sure as hell isn’t going to take a loss on Ramirez’s value like this deal does. I shouldn’t have to tell you that.
