Given all the Rays’ injuries to the Pen this year, I could see them trade for a reliever. Of course, that reliever would have to be healthy and able to contribute, which rules Munoz out.

Do the Mariners need Grullon in this deal? Maybe switch him for, say, Dodson or someone.

Doesn’t matter. Rays aren’t trading for a TJS reliever who had to have his recovery shut down in March. They certainly aren’t trading Beeks and Bradly for such a player.

Beeks – Also recovering from TJS, but with no set backs to date. When healthy, he’s a much better reliever than Munoz on his own. With that in mind, their respective trade values at BTV are curious.

Bradley – Rays paid well over slot to sign him after drafting him as a young 17 year old. He’s just now coming into his own and he definitely won’t be thrown in on a trade like this.
