    I’m not sure if Andrus would waive his NTC to go to Baltimore… unless they converted his 2023 vesting option into a guaranteed year.

    Moving Montas, who has might have the proverbial Million Dollar Arm/5 Cent Head, to acquire 2021 upgrades is an intriguing idea.

    I’m going to Down Vote because of the Andrus NTC but there might be a path with Montas.

      With 1/3 of the season past I have hit upgrade possibilities harder lately, …reviewing Andrus’ May improvements and his 2019 stats, …I’m in the group that opts to keep him and improve our line ups vs RHP elsewhere in the roster.

      I forgot that NTC and that definitely keeps Elvis in the building. Upgrades will be easier to accomplish in other ways.

      Montas is taking longer than expected.

        Montas could end up being a Cespedes-type chip, swapping his years of control for rental upgrades.
