As a Cleveland fan, I love this trade. Adell is the type of player they should get, a young, talented outfielder who they could get for cheap. With a lot of shortstops knocking on the door in the minors, trading Rosario makes a lot of sense. However, I don’t see the Angels trading Adell right now. It’s too early to give up on the former top-10 prospect in baseball.
I’m not really sure what you’re trying to imply. The entire point of trading for these players is to avoid over spending in free agency. And in any case they did sign both Hernandez and E Rosario last season. Cleveland’s FO is widely considered one of the best in the biz, in spite of the ownership’s restrictions.
Eddie was heavily slumping his entire time with Cleveland, was in the midst of a lengthy injury, and only had a couple months left on his contract. He had no value. The fact that he came through for you guys when it mattered is great and reflects well on your FO’s ability to scrounge for pieces at the deadline, but he was hardly “stolen”. He was traded for what he was worth at the time.
And regardless of what you think, as far as I’m aware Cleveland’s FO is highly thought of among their industry peers, so take that claim up with them 🤷♂️
They didn’t steal Eddie. Eddie not only underperformed in Cleveland but was injured. He went to ATL got healthy and then got hot. Good for Eddie and good for ATL. I’m happy for both, but Eddie wasn’t stolen and ATL’s FO aren’t geniuses because they made that acquisition. How do you come about getting your logic.

The braves front office is smart for the series of moves they made at the deadline. They didnt waste seasons like so mlb team listed above. But you know when you got zero rings it shows you dont know a smart move from one the gardians would make.
I’m not sure where you’ve gotten this idea that Cleveland’s FO doesn’t do anything. They’ve been active at every significant trading period in recent memory. They have budget restrictions maneuver around but even considering that they still make signings too.
Are you drunk or something? Why are you screaming in caps over a simple question that didn’t make a damn bit of sense. Yes they don’t spend like the big market clubs and trust me when I say they attempt to trade for guys. Evidently they just called Pittsburgh last week about Reynolds but the asking price is understandably astronomical. That wasn’t the first time they asked about him either.
They traded for Reyes. They traded for Rosario and Gimenez. They traded for Straw. They traded for Clase. They signed Encarnarcion. They extended Ramirez once and it sounds like they’re about to do it again. They extended Carrasco twice. They extended Kluber. They offered Lindor the largest contract in Cleveland history. I guess what I’m saying is that you’re full of poo and you don’t know what you’re talking about. Is that clear enought?

And yall got a blow world series to show for it. I understand the cap issue no ones the dodgers or yankees, but they should have added after that world series choke. Say what you want about the moves they have made there not significant.
Oh they’re significant. You should probably realize that Cleveland signed Rosario to play LF. You should also realize that as luck would have it he underperformed drastically and then got hurt while in Cleveland. The Braves were able to gamble on him because it didn’t cost them anything but money and all they had to do was dump the Panda. So instead of being an arrogant jerk and talking shit, you should be thankful for how things worked out for you. ATL’s FO isn’t some sort of trend setter because the got Eddie Rosario after Cleveland had signed the same Eddie Rosario. They took a chance much in the same way Cleveland did, but Eddie turned it around late in the season and it worked out for ATL. If I had crayons I would draw you a picture of Eddie Rosario wearing and Cleveland uniform and then an Atlanta uniform. Both teams acquired him in 21. He only played well for the second team late in the season. Is any of this making sense to you or is it beyond your capabilities?

This will never happen because of your front office seems like they dont know what free agency is.

As a braves fan I know a good front office (they kinda stole eddie from yall) and the gardians are a mid tier at best.

Could you explain further because what you stated makes absolutely no sense to me in this scenario.
THEY DONT SPEND MONEY OR TRADE FOR ANYONE. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGHT?
