With Triston Casas knocking on the door to the bigs, Bobby Dalbec’s spot on the roster isn’t exactly clear. With a few outfielders in their system and a relatively full outfield right now, Jarren Duran could be traded if they get something in return that’s worthy of him. James Karinchak Could be that guy. A high-risk, high-reward type player, the Red Sox could use some bullpen help. The Guardians have a question mark at 1st base and it could make sense to give up Karinchak and Naylor to get two guys that’ll contribute to their contention now.

Personally I’m not a proponent of trading Dalbec. I like him as the RH power Bat off the bench & back up 1B/3B for the next 5+ years but,; I’m torn because I don’t want to rush Casas to the big leagues but I like this trade for the Sox.
