I love the Brewers and don’t want them to make this deal, but am doing a rebuild of the Red Sox and think this is the kind of deal they would accept. They aren’t paying Hader long term, they likely choose between Burnes or Woodruff, this gets them 2 long term bats and another cost controlled pitcher

Zero chance the Brewers throw away any chance of winning the Central title and make this terrible deal. They give away a TOR starter and the best reliever in the game and get two maybes and a medioce reliever. Houck walks too many guys, something that plays very badly in Milwaukee. Yorke is still in A ball and no help for years, if ever. Casas is a nice prospect, but plays only 1B. The Brewers are in a small window of opportunity before many of their best players get too expensive. If the Brewers trade Hader or Woodruff they would be looking for immediate help, not maybes and a reliever.

Agree on mid season but could see it in the offseason. They aren’t paying these guys and I’m worried as a brewers fan the reset is coming sooner rather than later
