    Down vote for Oakland.

This would be an absolute disaster for Oakland. Austin Martin’s value has gone downhill since Draft Day, in large part due to a complete lack of power and increased doubts about his ability to play SS. 17.4 TV isn’t buying low… let the Twins try and fix him.

Sands has been OK this year, Hajjar just went on the IL.

This is a great trade for both teams. A’s are rebuilding and get two hitters and two pitchers in the deal. If it were up to me, I’d expand the deal somewhat to include A.J. Puk coming to the Twins and something else heading back to the A’s. Maybe Cavaco at a 2.2 value to push it a little more in Oakland’s favor. Possibly Matt Wallner instead at 3.0 to make it even greater. Puk would be a great addition to the Twins BP and someone like Wallner gives the A’s a power hitting corner outfielder. Whoever wins the trade for Montas will have to overpay to some degree. That’s why I expand this deal just a little bit.
