This is a solid package for Boyd. My only quibble is that the Tigers have said that they’re prioritizing position players instead of pitchers, because they have a plethora pitching prospects coming. So I’d see if I could squeeze Florial into this instead; otherwise it’s fair.
The Tigers will also be unhappy about losing 1.5 years of service time on each of them. I put their competitive return at around 2023 and that puts both into arbitration and not far from free agency. They will want players that have not started their clock or just were called up in 2019.
