So you’re saying the Mets should just clean the slate, using deGrom as leverage, and throw in a huge chunk of cash to get rid of two bad contracts. Then they get a package of young talent in return? Yeah, this is crazy but I like it. I don’t think the Braves would do it, but it’s certainly intriguing.
The Mets need to clean the slate, but BVW is a moron. And I’m also guessing trademeister is a Braves fan since he has all these crazy trades with stars going back to ATL.
