I don’t want to trade Lowe unless it’s for an outfielder.

Lowe does bring trade value that is needed to acquire Jansen. I’m not sure Fairbanks straight up (in terms of trade value and their preference for a reliever) for Jansen works for the Jays. So, I substituted out with a LHRP of need with value along with a potential 2023 need in their OF with Lowe. Hernandez could be a good hitter for them in the future to even out the trade. Rays still have 4 OF’ers and could bring in another via trade or smaller F , depending on what they do with Arozarena, may end up as a 4/5 type of OF for the Rays next year anyway.
