    If the Cubbies add a SS, it’d make sense to trade Madrigal and slide Hoerner over to 2B. Even if they don’t sign a big-name shortstop, Madrigal doesn’t have the clearest of fits in the lineup. Packaging together some young talent to add an ace-potential-caliber guy like Rogers could be the move the Cubs choose to make. From the Marlins’ standpoint, contending in the NL East this year is virtually impossible for them, but adding some young talent and trading from depth seems like a smart move. Madrigal could go to 2B and Chisholm would slide to SS, making Rojas expendable or a bench piece. Thoughts?
