Wow. This might be too bold for the Astros to pull the trigger on in real life, but I love it! Alvarez has tons of helium right now (and for good reason) but Whitley’s awful year helps compensate for any inflation there. Stubbs is a sneaky-good third piece, and if the Astros can fix Thor the way they helped Cole/Verlander, I don’t think they’d ever lose a game again. This is awesome.
