This return would motivate the Tigers to pull the trigger. And it does make the Twins more formidable for a couple of years.
I think this might be a bit too much of an overpay for the Twins. There will definitely be a bidding war for Boyd/Greene, but they’re playing way better than their career baselines and some healthy skepticism will keep their price where it belongs. Subbing in Larnach for Kiriloff and adding another solid piece or two might make this more feasible.
