I don’t think either team would do this trade. From the Rays perspective, they would be trading a key player from their outfield, possibly their starting RF, and just getting prospects back. Rays aren’t looking to build for the future, they are looking to win now. From the Marlins perspective, I can’t see them trading 2021’s first rounder for a couple years of Margot.
