I wouldn’t be against this trade if the Rays felt it improved the team, but Sheets isn’t the ideal Ray kind of player. He’s a poor fielder and has a below average hit tool. He might have the power the Rays missed in their lineup last year, but he’s not their type of player. That said, he has a higher floor at this point than Brujan, so I wouldn’t be shocked if the Rays were to do this trade. Think it’s unlikely though.
