This is a tough one, but with Peralta is on a very team friendly contract plus the Brewers losing $20M makes this a no for the Brewers. Milwaukee has Contreras for 5 years and Quero coming up so they don’t need Diaz. They have Taylor, Winker, Anderson, Frelick, Wiemer, Naquin, Mitchell, all vying for outfield spots along with Yelich, and their #1 prospect (#3-8 in the top 100 depending on which survey) also an outfielder coming up soon. They don’t want McCormick. Now IF the Brewers kept the $20M and the Astros kept Diaz/McCormick and swapped in Abreu (RHRP) and Hensley, the Brewers would be very interested.
